Many of our repeat Daniel Boone guest families lauded the new look. Additionally we provided folding dinner trays. I want to say that Joyce, Sandy, and Nick each have come to Pine Haven for 2 months a year every year since 2004 with the purpose of "How can we make Pine Haven even better." We added a futon, a 2 chair and lamp settee, and a beautiful centerpiece mountain style table. To wit, this past spring, I, my sister Joyce, cousin Sandy, and her husband Nick endeavored to make the living room of the cabin more efficient. It is somewhat humorous, because, what constitutes the crux our great guest's complaint, was spawned by our everlasting quest for perfection. Getting back to the Daniel Boone cabin, since 2004, we have invested into it new carpet, appliances, furniture, new deck and deck furniture, insulation, roofing, mountain log ceiling, and new mattresses every 5 years. I wish our guests would have told me during their stay about their concerns. If there is anything amiss regarding a guest's stay, I will literally attend to it immediately and resolve any guest questions and needs. We are different from many of our good friends who have resorts in Estes Park in one big way, and that is that I, as the owner, am here every day and night. Regarding the Daniel Boone cabin it is one of our most popular cabins and many families come back year after year requesting it for their family vacation. Our mission is to provide the highest vacation experience possible. We also put up Sternberg street lights and a hot tub and basketball court on the property, along with a shuffleboard court, pickleball court, and horseshoe pit. Every cabin has been enhanced with electrical, heating, decks, Wi-Fi, cable TV, western furniture, new appliances. Pine Haven has been an Estes Park lodging favorite since 1953 and, indeed, we have poured into it all the amenities 21st century travelers would want. We have been the proud owners of Pine Haven since 2004. All of our guests collectively have enriched our lives. I loved how easy and fast it was to get from the cabin to RMNP (3 miles west) and downtown (2 miles east). They also had fire pit areas but we also didn’t partake. We didn’t partake in the hot tub but it looked nice. We also enjoyed the little hiking trail behind cabin 4 up the hill behind Pine Haven. My young kids loved the little playground area and there was also a basketball court, as well. The rest of the cabin property is awesome! Fall River is a great attraction and so great to just sit next to and enjoy. I didn’t see any air conditioning but we didn’t need it with the cool summer days of Estes Park. The cabin had two quiet and good working heaters in it that we ran each night. The only modern appliance missing is a dishwasher but we didn’t mind washing by hand. We cooked about 5 meals in the kitchen during our stay and loved having that option with a pretty fully equipped kitchen. The kids loved the bunkbed! The bedroom area in Cabin 1 is tight with the bunkbed at the foot of the queen bed but we knew that when we booked it and it was cozy. The cabin smelled good and the beds were pretty comfortable. The front office emailed our instructions the morning of check in and our key was waiting on the front door of the office for us. The check in process was easy and contactless. We never once worried about catching coronavirus from our stay here. Visiting during a pandemic was interesting but we found everything to be very clean and sanitary. Pine haven estes park colorado full#I loved the wood finishing everywhere and our cabin was so perfectly decorated! The cabin included everything we could need (plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots, pans, stove, oven, sinks, full fridge and freezer, coffee maker, toaster, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bar soap, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hair dryer, disinfecting spray, TV with full cable, very fast WIFI internet and more). Wow! Pine Haven was incredible! We just left today and can’t wait to come back! We stayed in the fisherman cabin (Cabin 1) and really enjoyed every minute of it.
